Scrapbook

Sunday night I am going to a MISS Foundation scrapbook night. Since we got so much stuff donated for the gift baskets for a silent auction, I was able to put together a 6x6 album, which each of us get to make, for Sunday night. Cover.
page 1.
page 2 and 3.
page 4 and 5.
page 6 and 7.
page 8 and 9.
page 10 and 11. (not completely finished)
page 12.
It's not my best work, but it's the first of many things I've been meaning to due for the past 7 months. Not all of the books will look the same. I was going to do a class but then decided that since some of moms didn't get pictures and some did, I would just help them figure out what works best for them.
I'll let you know how the scrapbook night went. It's also one of the mom's birthday and I am making the most delicious dark chocolate cake for her...it is literally heaven.

Tomorrow, Saturday, I get to spend at the Preparedness Fair. Our Stake hosts it every 2 years and this year I get to help with 'alternative ways of cooking'. I got to make an Apple Box Oven. I made some muffins in it earlier this evening and it works. So tomorrow at the fair, I am going to try a cake. Hopefully everything goes as planned.

That's a very sweet scrapbook. I am always impressed with the memories you scrapbookers can come up with. Your Sunday night sounds like it could be fun and bittersweet at the same time. I am so glad you have something like that.

Beautiful scrapbooking! It just perfectly shows off the beautiful pictures! You've got to post your cake recipe! I just love dark chocolate! And there is nothing like a homemade cake!

How sweet! You are so talented!!
I wish I could pick up on scrap booking. I have books, but no motivation or ideas on how to start. I have over 600 pictures just sitting in a box. I keep thinking someday. Maybe when my girls get older they'll be interested in putting together their own books.

Looks great. I wish I could get back into scrapbooing. Maybe I will go digital, I don't know a lot about it though.
