28 week appointment

We had another doctor appointment today. Everything is going well. Sarah is a wiggle worm...she just doesn't stop moving! It even wakes me up at night. She is still transverse, but they aren't too worried that she won't move into the right position before too long. After my next appointment, I will be having non stress tests twice a week. I really wish that the hospital wouldn't make us pay for parking.
I, on the other hand, have had the WORST heartburn and indigestion of all of my pregnancies. I can't hardly eat anything without feeling it. I am also at the throwing up stage of the pregnancy. It's been real enjoyable. Graham crackers and ginger ale have become my friends.
Wasn't I supposed to deal with this in the beginning, not now?

ewww, i hate heartburn! that really stinks. pregnancy is such a mystery to me. i can't wait to find out from god why all these weird and unpleasant things happen to us when we are pregnant.

we didn't see any kunzs' while we were vacationing...that i know of. we did go through montpelier acouple of times too. justin's family is more from the south eastern idaho area. paris was a cool little town.

I had horrible heartburn with Corbin...24/7. I had to sleep at a 45 degree angle at night because I would wake up choking and unable to breathe from the acid. It would scare me horribly. I finally had a friend recommend what her OB suggested to her for her horrible heartburn: Costco's Kirtland Ant-acid tablets. They are tiny little tablets and you take 1 with one cup of water and it workds for 12 hours. I tried it at it was a God send!! I lived on the stuff for the last 1/2 of my pregnancy. They are sold in a pack of two little bottles. Maybe that could help.

Arah, I am an "I hate being pregnant" girl ALL THE WAY! I still cannot believe I made it through three of them; between nausea, heart-burn, breathlesness, back-aches, and an inability to sleep... it's a nightmare. The only way I got through it was to envision the perfect little infant at the end!!! Good luck, and I hope your unpleasant symptoms subsisde soon.

Do you want to try some preggie pops to see if they help you with getting sick? I have also heard from other doulas that sweet tarts help. Not sure though..I have never tried it. I will see if I can find anything to help with your heartburn.
