blessing day.

yesterday was Sarah's blessing day. She was such a good little baby and didn't fuss or cry at all. In fact, she was pretty happy the whole day. I guess it helped that I figured out what gives her gas...lettuce. Isn't that great? I craved salads all through my pregnancy but they gave me such bad heart burn and indigestion that I didn't eat them. Now, I can't eat them because they give Sarah gas.
Anywho... her blessing was sweet.
Her dress was made by my friend Karen's Aunt Kris (I hope I spelled your name right). I thought it was going to be big, but since we waited until she was 8 weeks old, it fit perfectly. Kris made Olivia's dress also.
It is absolutely beautiful. She sells them, so if you are interested, let me know and I can get you her information. I made her sweet little headpiece in about ten minutes on Saturday night. I think I am going to have to make a few more of these. They are SO EASY!
I have a hungry baby, so i will have to keep this post short.

I am shocked that I am actually the 1st to comment. By the time I get here, I am usually the 20th comment hehe! She is so beautiful. Karen's aunt Kris does do a great job on the dresses. Sorry about all the insane amounts of snow you guys have gotten. I am still mad that it prevented us from making it there for Christmas but we are planning on coming in Feb. if is clears up some. Miss ya and stay warm!!

me again- how did you make the headband?? Very cute. Oh and I am impressed with anyone that can figure out what they are eating that makes a nursing baby fussy. Yah lettuce is one that is a bummer to not be able to eat. Sorry!!

She is so beautiful! I love the dress too.I'd have her make me one...but I don't think I will ever get a girl. We were going to bless Jamen yesterday, but none of Brett's family could make it(his
grandpa is going to pass away any time) so we have to wait till next month. Did I mention how dang cute Sarah is??

Does she make outfits for boys? Jamen will out grow his blessing outfit by next month.

Hey Arah, wish I could have been there. She looks beautiful. I am so happy for you and am glad I could have a small part in your joy. I am not sorry to have moved away from all the snow. It is 50 degrees here in West Virginia. I will hopefully be coming in the summer I would love to see you.
Love you
Kris

Sarah looks beautiful in her blessing gown. I'm so bummed I couldn't be there for the blessing. I miss everyone so much and I haven't even been gone that long. Give Sarah some hugs from me.

She is so beautiful!! You did a great job on the headband!! Did you record or take record of what was said in her blessing? Someone in one of my wards in Utah had the calling of doing that & then putting it on a cute card for the family. So I stole the idea & I made a scrapbook page for each of my kids. It's so cool to remember what was said! I will have to scan them in so all can see them...
