Brinley loves to tell jokes. whether they are made up or ones that she just loves to tell. her favorites:
Knock knock.
who's there?
lettuce.
lettuce who?
the lettuce that you eat.
The real answer would be lettuce in it's cold out here. her version is quite funny when she's telling it.
her next favorite...
how do you make a tissue dance?
you put a boogie in it.
of course, Brinley likes visual effects, hence the picture.
Don't mind the dirty face, that is from my brother, Jared's birthday cake.
I believe she takes after her father.
Brinley is also very good at not getting words pronounced correctly or making up words for different things. an example: a "captus" (cactus) is called a corney doggie in her book. So, the other night, as always, she wanted to help me dinner, so she asked if she could "rack" the cucumbers. I could not figure out what she was talking about until she brought me the peeler. She has a ver funny vocabulary.

how to start
this is all new to me... i don't even keep a journal, so let's hope that i will actually use this. how to start...
this is the week where school hasn't started yet, summer is getting over, the pools are closing and the kids are driving you crazy. what is there to do? so yesterday, Brinley and i went to greenbluff with my friend Kim Silva and picked peaches, 35 pounds actually, then went back to her house and pealed about 30 pounds then made peach pie. YUM! it was so good. I would have taken a picture of it, but my husband, Matt, got to it before i could get a chance. Peaches are his favorite.
Today my sister, Julie, and i took the kids swimming at the YMCA (they are little fishes). tonight, while Matt is at school, it's scrapbook time for me. YEAH! that only happens about once a week.
